World of Chocolate 2009
World of Chocolate is the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s (AFC) annual holiday fundraising event held in commemoration of World AIDS Day. At this festive event, guests will sample scrumptious chocolate creations from more than 30 of Chicagoland’s finest restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers.
Other components of the evening include live entertainment, an open bar, a light buffet, and the first annual Chocolate Bliss Recipe Challenge where guests submit thier original recipes for judging by culinary artisans and chocoaltiers throughout Chicago.

Program: The program will be designed to highlight Jane Addams Hull House Association and tie the event to Jane Addams Day. Jane Addams became the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on December 10, 1931. The state of Illinois now celebrates Jane Addams Day on December 10th in her honor. Our intent is to raise funds and win friends for the Association.
